I wanted to build a multi-media temporal gallery system. Google Photos on steroids and not limited to photos. I wanted to catalogue all of my experiences and memories through digitizing. And also just raw data of everything about my life (not everything). I got really excited when I learnt about MyLifeBits Reasearch @ Microsoft.

Along with pure just data store. I want to have a contextual navigation of data. Like for example: If I am having a in-person conversation with my friend along the lines: "I can't remember the name of that restaurant we went to in Sarjapur last year...", My android phone will process the audio input, and sends a notification to the me: You visited Natraj restaurant in Sarjapur with Alex on June", and If I click the notification and open the app, then the app will provide me the complete log of that time, and the data relating to the current context.

Contextualization of all the data type (photos, videos, location, web searches, app usages, movies and tv shows watched, etc) is difficult but not impossible.
